Heidi & Brandon - in love in downtown Asheville

A few weeks ago, I hung out in downtown Asheville with one of my couples, Heidi and Brandon. Here are some of my favorite photos:

First, we stopped by the Woolworth Walk, and enjoyed a delish milkshake made by the fabulous ladies that work there.











Then we wandered the colorful, vibrant streets of downtown Asheville.

Michell

Recently, I got together with one of my coworkers, Michell, to create some portraits of her last month of pregnancy. This close to Christmas, the weather outside was frightful, so we stuck to the studio.

Working on the website

So I've updated my website, and now my clients can reserve their wedding date and pay their deposit online, as well as order and pay for prints from any session. I'm pretty excited about the changes, and I'm hoping that my clients find the new additions to the website easy to use.

I also wanted to share the engagement photos I took with Kristy and Curtiss a few months ago. You can see their wedding pictures in the entry from November.

Silver Dagger

While I was out recently listening to some bluegrass at a great little Irish pub in West Asheville, I ran into my friend Grace, whom I didn't even know lived in Asheville. She's a banjo-wielding Amazon, and she asked me to photograph her band, Silver Dagger.

Hello, dearies. I just finished up Jill and Nick's wedding album layout, and I wanted to share some of the pages with you. Each layout below is a two page spread that will be printed up by Asuka Books as a 10X10 coffee table album bound in animal-free leather. This is the first year I have been offering these albums, and I am really excited to make more!
